Thank you for your interest in my "Modern Gongbi" portraits!

My portrait commission process begins with your vision. 

Once I understand your vision, we can discuss details (size, pricing, time frame,etc).

My minimum size for portraits are life-size, with pricing beginning at $1600. Consultation, photography, and finished portrait are included in that price. Travel outside of Boston, framing, and shipping are not included.

Once basic details are finalized, I like to meet my subjects in person for a photography session. But, if necessary, I can use your favorite photography for reference and inspiration. 

I take as many as 100 photographs and narrow poses down to several possibilities. I send the images to you. We discuss and arrive at a final pose. This process is very important. I am very patient until we are both confident and satisfied with the pose.

Completed portrait is presented to you for your approval.

I can create a print of your human portrait...for you only. I will not create prints of your commission for anyone else.  But, I will use your commission image in social media by first name only.
